Who are the Learning Guides at IVG and What do we want to teach?
Rethinking Learning
This question accompanies us again and again. That is why we continue walking this path together, exploring the true essence of learning, listening deeply, observing with new eyes, and looking at education from a completely different perspective. This vision lies at the heart of everything we do.
One of our first realizations was this:
Every human being can become a learning guide. In truth, most of us already are.
We all carry knowledge within us — inherited from our ancestors, our parents, our experiences, and our own journey through life. From this inner wisdom, we are allowed to learn, grow, and share.
Traditions, herbal knowledge, health, nutrition, languages, music, and many other aspects of life invite us to rediscover learning in a natural and meaningful way.
Creating a Safe Space for Real Learning
As learning guides, our first task is to create a safe and protected environment where learning can become alive again.
We meet people of all ages openly, empathetically, and without pressure. Traditional memorization is not our focus. Instead, we offer impulses, support individual processes, and encourage natural curiosity — from early childhood to old age.
Learning does not only happen during fixed lesson times. It happens in everyday life. Topics naturally become part of daily experiences and can be explored there.
Because we never truly stop learning — not because we have to, but because we are allowed to remain curious.
Nothing is forced. Everything is possible.
We are allowed to accept what already exists within us. At the same time, we also allow ourselves to say no — when something does not fit the individual person or their current process, when the pace becomes too fast, or when the outside world feels too loud.
Learning should remain individual and human.
Learning in Harmony With Human Nature
We want to recreate learning in a conscious, human, and connected way.
We listen to our own individual frequencies and create meaningful connections with one another. Every person can contribute to the growth of our people and to deeper understanding between cultures and communities.
Together we discover new things, explore knowledge in everyday life, and approach life with curiosity.
- We question.
- We allow pauses.
- We allow learning to flow like water.
Inspiration and enthusiasm guide our path. Even obstacles are not seen as failure, but as invitations to discover new solutions and new ways forward.
Knowledge is not something to be hidden or controlled. It is shared — because shared knowledge strengthens communities and allows collective growth.
Moving Away From Rigid Education
Sitting still for hours, disconnected from the natural rhythm of life and movement, does not reflect our understanding of learning.
We encourage active experiences and living education filled with joy, lightness, and flexibility. ← Absatz
- Learning guides listen.
- They truly see.
- They create genuine connection.
They support exchange, mutual learning, and a natural balance of giving and receiving. Patience, openness, and humanity are at the center of this approach.
We have realized that learning never ends. In every phase of life, the mind and heart can continue to grow.
That is why there are no age limits. Everyone is welcome — young and old alike.
Growing Together Instead of Competing
Small research groups emerge naturally. People come together to explore shared interests and topics. Families are supported just as much as individuals.
We see ourselves as one people, encouraging connection not only within neighborhoods but across continents.
Through togetherness, inspiration, curiosity, and meaningful relationships can grow. We pay attention to the individual learning needs of every person and offer everyone the space they need.
- No pressure.
- No deadlines.
- No grades.
- No fear.
Learning is allowed to become free again.
Old wounds and painful memories from traditional school systems can begin to heal. There is no drilling, punishment, or forcing people into rigid structures.
Instead, we create spaces where personal unfolding can happen at the right time.
Learning in Your Own Rhythm
Lifelong Learning for Adults
Just as a butterfly needs time for its transformation, every human being deserves the freedom to develop in their own rhythm.
Timing matters. We allow ourselves to shape our learning journey consciously and individually. ← Absatz
We ask:
- What does the group bring?
- What does the individual truly need right now?
- Which topics want to be explored?
We do not impose knowledge onto people. Instead, we create opportunities for children, teenagers, and adults to explore topics deeply together.
Independent thinking and individual action are actively encouraged.
Again and again, we hold the space.
Every Person Is Both Student and Teacher
Topics are explored individually or collectively. Everyone is invited to participate, contribute, and unfold their potential.
Because every human being is both a student and a teacher at the same time.
- Moving away from competition and jealousy.
- Moving toward togetherness, mutual support, and collective growth.
Final Thoughts
At IVG, learning is not only about collecting information. It is about becoming human in the deepest sense — reconnecting with ourselves, with others, and with life itself.
We believe that real education begins where fear ends, curiosity awakens, and authentic human connection becomes possible.
