The article explains who the Indigenous Peoples of the northern hemisphere are – descendants of the Germanic tribes who continue their traditions today through public confession and ethnocultural identity. It clarifies what they are not: they do not deny modern states, do not seek old borders and firmly reject the label „Reichsbürger". With the ratification of ILO Convention 169 by Germany in 2021, the legal foundation for their rights has been significantly strengthened.
